Prestigio del Norte
⌖ Summit Stage at the Bazaar
In Willmar, Minn., in 2020, visionaries Abelardo Leal Jr. and Aldo Silva combined their talents and passion for Norte o music to create Prestigio Del Norte. Faithful to the traditional sound that runs through their veins, this band is distinguished by impeccable playing of the accordion and bajo sexto. Their repertoire journeys through the catalog of classic Norte o music, masterfully performing everything from soulful rancheras and danceable cumbias to energetic huapangos.
