Concerts. The 215th Army Band of the Massachusetts Army National Guard is one of America’s premier military music ensembles. For over 60 years, this exceptional group of citizen-soldiers has entertained audiences across New England and around the world—delivering powerful performances that showcase the Army’s proud musical traditions, inspire patriotism, and tell the Army story through music. Protocol is the 215th Army Band’s jazz combo, performing a versatile mix of jazz classics, modern instrumental covers, funk, and contemporary favorites. With a focus on tight musicianship, improvisation, and a good groove, the group brings a dynamic and engaging sound to every performance. Protocol has performed for audiences across the Commonwealth, as well as internationally in Kenya, representing the 215th Army Band and the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Whether providing music for a formal military event, a community celebration, or a concert setting, Protocol brings a unique blend of style, energy, and musicianship to every mission. The 215th Army Band performs under the direction of CW4 Stephen Martins and First Sergeant Amaranth Cole.
